.. Monthly Frugal Habit
Each month I'll
give you one frugal habit to work on for the month.
.
January

It's the start of a new
year, what better time to start a budget. I've
found in the past that yearly budgets are a bit
daunting so a better alternative is to set up a
budget for the month.
List any incoming money as
well as all your expenses for the month.
Now for the hard part....
sticking to it!
Are you up for the
challenge???

December

This month I am going to set
a grocery budget and try my hardest to stick to
it. It's probably the worst month to be giving
this a go, but I'll try and factor Christmas in
to it.
I'll start by making up 4
weeks of meal plans including lunches and morning
tea.
I have a pantry stocked with
flour, sugar, cocoa and long life milk etc, so
I'll add eggs and butter to my shopping list and
make biscuits and cakes for afternoon teas and
snacks.
Are you up for the
challenge???

November

This month I want you to put
a bucket, a jug or any container in the shower
with you. While you are showering the container
will fill with water and then I want you to go
and tip it in your garden or on your lawn. Not
only will this save you money by not having to
water as much of your garden, but it will also
save our precious water.
